Morton captured gold at the 2006 SKIF World Championship in Tokyo, Japan with his explosive karate technique. His seminar, scheduled at the Rochester Community Center, will focus on his training design and the proven protocols it takes for developing body mechanics, mental preparation and performance concerns to attain world class recognition.

He is a two-time Funakoshi Karate Association gold medalist and has placed in numerous international and national championships, capturing gold four times at USA Karate National Championships, gold three times at the American Shotokan Karate Association National Championships, and gold four times at the Ozawa Cup Memorial Championships.

He holds positions with the USA Karate Board of Directors, the US Olympic Committee Athlete Advisory Council, USA Karate Athlete Advisory Council, and serves as a World Karate Federation (WKF) athlete representative.
